Re: Accord 2001 LX finding service connector
The service check connector is found on the passenger side mounted under the glove box on the 94-97.
On the 98-02 Accord it is integrated into the 16 pin OBD-II plug behind the ashtray/under the steering columb. There are two pins on the OBDII connector that you short to do self-diagnostics. You short the brown and black wires together.
This will not disable the air and fuel ratio ether! not sure what you are trying to do here?
I see you have 4 or 5 threads started wanting to know how to bypass all your engine sensors and **** like that.... If you tell us the problem you are having someone might be able to help you.
FYI, You cannot fix a P1381 CYP error by changing your idle RPM or ignition timing. Have you tried testing the CYP sensor? Maybe see if it might be a loose wire/connector. Oil in your distributor can cause premature wearing on the sensor and wires. Could have a short inside the distributor.
If the sensor tests ok and the wires to the ECU are good, then it points to an issue with the ECU itself. But you have to test the sensor and wiring first. That is the simple way to fix P1381.

Hi thanks for putting up with me.... It's rigged at 1100 RPMs idle everything works fine except I have to turn the AC on to lower RPMs to shift into drive..... is the RPMs go down below 1100 idle will start bucking intermittently ... Cel on and 3000 RPM limitation p1381 I don't want to replace the distributor cause I can't afford it... How do I test the cyp sensor I do have a multimeter tester... I checked cyp sensor inside the distributor for visual and looseness sprayed electrical cleaner.,..... it seems if I can keep the idle at 7500 RPMs without a bucking I'm OK........ so I'm trying to figure it out if the cyp sensor is shot or is there something else going on the intermittent idle problem makes me wonder and that I can get it to run fine over 11,000 RPM but I realize this are 11000 RPM stuff is not good thank you......m....... I'm trying to trick it into not trying to set the fuel air mix and Idol........ yep over 200,000 miles on it I'm just trying to keep it on the road who knows what's going to come up next thank you
