Default 1990 Accord EX Axles???

I've had a heck of a time with reman axles from A1 cardone. They of course have a lifetime warrenty, but it isn't worth my time to change them out every 6 months, I'd rather just have something reliable!

It's been 8 months since I put them in, one vibrated out of the box and had to swap it with another now one inner ripped on the boot seam and is out of grease and the opposite sides outer is clicking and ready to go.

I've looked at various new and reman axles, new honda and raxles are out, I'm looking at 480 bucks to have raxles shipped to me because of my location and lack of factory cores. I've read bad reviews on various new axles GSP's, EMPI... I've read a small amount of info about AUP (Automotive under car products) axles and they sound good they're forged and have heavy duty boots on them also sounds like they come with the dynamic dampeners (but I could be wrong)

Does anyone have anywhere else I should look or information or reviews about AUP axles they are of course china made!

Thanks for any reply
Cheers

The 480 was for both axles from Raxles shipped to Ontario with no cores to return (cause he won't take the junk I have)

So I'm leaning towards ordering these AUP axles this is about all the info I can find on them
http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=2388962
and they warrenty them for 12 months / 12000 miles (longer than the remans lasted lol)

Both axles are toast and like I said they've only been in the car 8 months... And it's a 4 cylinder auto prolly no the hardest thing in the world on CV's

I've tried scrap yard, JDM importers and scrap yards usually have shitty remans they think are honda OEM and the importers say that the used axles they import for my model of accord are usually in rough enough shape they don't bother to sell them anymore. They sell new chinese axles GSP's...

It's pretty sad the only NEW aftermarket I can find are from china.... but I guess I don't have the 250 bucks a side to spend so what can I expect....

Well my new AUP axles arrived friday very impressed in comparison to A1 cardone remans and EMPI axles these things are the cats meow. They're forged and are beefier than the factory honda's also they come with a dynamic balancer bushing on the left long shaft. Just out driving it and the vibration I couldn't get rid of is gone!

I'd like to go into carquest and hit buddy in the head with the old cv he kept telling me you must have a balance issue elsewhere usually cv's don't cause vibrations... Yea well when they're remaned chinese garbage that was heat treated on a cement floor with human made methane gas nothing surprises me. 10000kms the A1 cardones lasted garbage!

Anyway just thought I'd let you guys know 60 bucks from rock auto!

Is your car a manual or auto?

For every Honda/Acura I have installed axles in, for manual transmissions I have used Raxle but for automatics I have used autozone axles without any issues. Autozone axles in a manual Honda tend to vibrate the entire front end excessively.

I would assume Autozone remans their axles just like the A1 Cardone axles I got from Carquest. They are re-manufactured axles that were cheap chinese axles to begin with so they grind them out and put bigger ball bearings in them. Making them even weaker then the inferior product they were new! Learn from my mistakes don't even bother. The really sad thing about it is I had an old honda axle with a split boot and like a dumbass I just replaced it with a reman. The otherside was an AC delco axle that was cooked and still looked newish... Also my car had 90000 original km's on it last year when I bought it.

All this being said my new chinese AUP axles seem great so far!

I would have so gotten raxles if I had my factory cores or I lived in the US because between those two things it just killed the deal....
