I'm not trying to build the fastest 4cly I can find. I'm planing for a track car and from my driving experince I've found vtec hurts when your going around a corner and it pops. Y7 is the best motor (from experince) in track racing. Turbo na supercharger it doesn't matter to me because I am not using this car for street racing. FYI I love my Honda b!+€h

Re: Non-VTEC is the way to go.
Well if you have money it's different and also I want to be that one person who doesn't care about VTEC. I have driven VTEC but if you build a non vtec motor you have more torque in the end which is what you need from a digg. Also problem with VTEC you have your power and torque at 6300 rpm(K20) whereas the D16 has it's power at 6300 and torque at 4500 which is what motors are supposed to be built.
I guess Formula 1 engineers with all their wisdom got it wrong since they dont have their
"power at 6300 and torque at 4500 which is what motors are supposed to"
Have you ever heard of gearing??

Ok whatever I know what I'm talkin about and really don't care bout y'all and the k20 ate 4500 rpm isn't makin more than 135 tq y7 106 tq. The price to get the. D16 that high isn't has much as a full sawp
