Re: East Coast is the Right Coast - Let's try this again...
My car was everywhere before it went into print, knowing it was goin to be in h-t i wouldnt of had a build or posted pictures up as much. i didnt even want the car in the magazine at the time i wanted to finish it and get it most of the way completed but ben said they wanted it. so i said ok ill get it most of the way finished and shoot it. But its not like hondatech is the only people that buy honda-tuning... there is life outside of h-t in case some people didnt know.
I know tons of cars that are really bad *** and you rarely ever see pictures of them and they still get turned down by mag's. Its all about what the editors of that mag want. It doesnt matter how much you see it online. Ben will tell you i had nothing to do with getting my car in the magazine, they went to him about it.
This is a online forum where you're suppose to show pictures and share info with people that have the same stuff in common with. Hiding stuff to me seems kind of stupid, after all its a honda. Its prob already been done somewhere or another
Sorry for the long post.....

think richmond is like 10 hrs away which would be good practice for IA which is like 18, but not sure if I could do both or doing the first one might convince me not to do the second one lol.

I liked his car, i pushed his car, i knew his car was clean, and in my eyes it was a trendsetter. BUT ALSO, i was asked if i knew of any really nice ek's. Even though its a ej, its a ek to me, and i spit out what it had and sample pics instantly. next thing you know, i am sending kev messages and setting up to shoot this. Then on the shoot, it was a
rodrez and myself go through forums and meets doing just this, looking for cars.
I can speak for myself when i say that i grew up on magazines, and loved them. school, library, i sat and looked at magazines no matter what it was on. so yes im pushing to keep stuff going in the magazines because i like them. might not mean much else to anyone else, but it means the world to me.
good thing that we can all speak out and have our own opinions about stuff. looking at the news right now, it does look that way for alot of things lately...

i remember the ONE of the sickest camo 96-00 hatchs was in honda-tuning in about 2002, with a fully built B20VTEC. i still have the pictures on my wall since 8th grade. it was super dooper clean for the styling in 2002.
