Shaking the wheel like that is actually checking the wheel bearing, if there is noticable play or feels fairly loose, then it's the wheel bearing, not any ball joints or tie rods... The way to check tie rods and ball joints is to put the car on a lift with someone in it to turn the stearing wheel, while you pull on the parts as they turn the wheel...

Don't have a screen of my best pull but it was 290/194 @ 18psi with a blown throttle body gasket that I found about 5 minutes after we shut the shop doors and the tuner pulled out. No doubt that I'm actually making more power.

wow, i saw those numbers and thought of a NA engine. my stock parts ls/vtec made 190whp/135wtq. then i saw 7lbs and baseline...then it hit me.

thats some nice power on a budget set-up similar to my delsol budget build, stock block b16a3 on 7lbs from a garrett tc4305 turbo it cranked out 250/165, damn torqueless wonder.

BTW what engine management are you running off of?

i dunno but that car used to have a h22 with itb's i wonder what happend because it was a h2b kit in there as well and now its just a b series

His name is Ejay Adriano (sn: ProjectJDM), he was featured in the October 2010 Honda Tuning mag. Like thedb63 said, when he had the shoot he had the H2B/ITB setup. He's known for going back and forth between B-series and H-series motors. To my knowledge, the H22 blew or had some malfunctions and Ejay swapped in his old B18C to make it in time for a show. But then again, he did convert his 90-91 front end to a 92-93 last summer... So I'm a little bit confused if this picture is of it's current state. Either way, such an amazing DA. One of my all time favorites.

Well got the car back together and back onto the dyno tonight!
Ended up fixing a problem that was causing me issues last time as well.

Car made good power, FINALLY! Power curve looks good.

That graph looks so nice. very linear. I'm jealous. hopefully mine will look a bit like that when i'm done but kind of doubt it.

Lol, what do you mean? I'm happy considering how much fun the last setup was and how shitty that power band looked. I need to post that up.

Torque curve looks like it says 279? Is that low for a set up like that?

how do you guys feel about the wings west body kit, seeing as its almost just like the mugen style bumpers(cant tell if the sideskirts are roughly the same).

yeah maybe just couple the front and rear bumpers with some dc sideskirts, instead of the ww sideskirts. wont look to bad eh.?

What's the setup?
I assume when you say track tune you mean on Q16 or some other race gas?

Eh it is a bit low but we ended the night once we got this out of the car.
Still on very conservative timing because it was a pump gas tune.
My last numbers were 410/302 or so and that was with HUGE cams and a smaller turbo. This is on stock GSR cams and a larger frame turbo. I sacrificed some mid range TQ for top end power.

The thing that scares me already is that those old number came with a junk *** power band due to some small issues here and there. I need to scan that old graph and throw it up here. It was awful, this is so much better in all aspects! Can't wait for the rain to stop and cut it loose.
