true^^
i have rs3 hankooks 225/45/15 on my 15x7 te37s for daily
and for d track, i switch between my RA1s, r888s or my fave NT01s on my black 949s all 225/45
how do u like the thicker sidewall? do u run 15x8s? i figure 225/50s is alot of meat and can easily go on 9" wide wheels and not look "chunky". section width should also be wider than 225/45. been thinking about it for quite a while.
only time i ran 205/50s was my old set of hoosier R6s and the section width on those were identical to 225s. i know it depends on tire manufacturer but section width also increases with the aspect ratio. do u have pics of 225/50s on an 8" wheel? thanks.

Just got it all mounted and dialed in today, will have to shoot some pics when I get a chance. Much happier witht this setup than the Advans!

im sure it will look 100x better also. the advans were a bit big and made the brakes look tiny.
no one wants to hear the truth

thanks guys. yeah its a ViS hood. its an older (probably the chargespeed) style. im not 100% certain.
went there to pick up a 99-00 Js style one but none were in stock.
so i went thru d inventory pics and found this one to my delight
got it for 45% off retail thru homie hookup (he works at ViS) and its d only one left.
fitment is pretty good. no issues with the skunk2 manifold. im sure it will clear the rbc mani too. the front part of the vent is gradually raised while the vent hole descends only about an inch down virtually making the fitment just like oem clearance. plus there is no thick fiberglass skeleton down d middle.
