LOL JOEL I KNEW YOU WOULD COME BACK looking good
BBG: Thanks for the welcome. I've lurked in this thread for a long time, posting up pics every now and then. Love checking out other folk's rides. I love what you've done with yours. I voted for ya in that contest thing you joined (see, I always lurk). Anyway, yea I've found myself spending a good chunk of cash in my ride. Sometimes I think I'm crazy for spending that much on an older car. But I just love my little beater. The best part about it to me is actually doing many of the upgrades myself (I'm big on DIY) and saving money along the way. My latest one was the fogs. I decided I'd give it a try. Really I was motivated by the fact that shops were charging me much more than I was willing to pay. But anyway, I went online, read every tutorial I could find and gave it a go. I was done after a few hours. Gotta love that sense of satisfaction and accomplishment after the job is done. Although I gotta admit, there have been occasions where I wished I would've forked over the money (ie: when I installed my JDM EK clock...now that one was a bitch!)
well thanks fo the vote deff worth trying and as for the spending to much money on an older car as long as your happy with the results and you love what your doing and your car no need to regret or think it twice. in my case some of my friends used to tell me why i spend so much money on it and all i answer was that its a hobby for me and i just love the car scene i enjoy it so no more else to it and deff DIY the way too go is the way i did my interior black! decide i didnt want the gray interior so when for it by myself took a week or so. but love it where are you located at? Re: ** The offical 96-00 civic 4dr thread ** PART 2
I have no idea whos car this is, but I need a bit of help from the fellas in determining the tire size being used and even the manufacturer if possible. The wheels are 15x8 if that helps. Does anyone know if the coupe and sedan share the exact same suspension geometry from the factory (in terms of fender lip clearance).

I remember you saying you dont want to roll your fenders/quarters, that coupe looks like its rolled so you might not be able to get the same fitment. But without knowing the offset of the wheels youre looking to get, theres no way of knowing what will or won't fit

jason is getting 15x8 +25mm i believe.
for comparison, my hatch is rocking 15x8s +35front and +30rear with unrolled fenders and no camber kits but the tires are a bit stretched 195/50. it even has the rubber lining on the rear fenders. my hatch is also lower than mallard.
maybe i can snap a side profile pic in the morning when i get home...

They were mentioned as being 15x8 +25 in the thread I looked up.
I was thinking that too until I found out that is a 8" wheel and the sidewall looked pretty vertical to me (didn't see as much stretch as I expected for a 195)
Yep. My extra set of wheels are 15x8 +25 front and back.
Initially I was against it, but I might need too a little. I think it will come down to getting a good fitting tire. My 15x7 Regamasters have Falken 205/50/15's on them, and I know that is not going to work with these.

[QUOTE=I4MCHNA;45875937]owner says their 15x8 +18 195/50/15[/QUOTE
Were you able to figure out who owns it? I was getting the info second hand from someone else, and had no idea who owned the car so I could verify with certainty.

You are probably right then. So that still leaves the question about the suspension clearance differences between coupe/sedan/hatch. I'm hoping there are no differences to contend with.

Here is the link where they discussed the size of them. Maybe I read it wrong. Tell me what you think.

What exactly are you trying to do? Fit the biggest tire without rubbing? Im sure coupes and sedans have the same clearance. Negums wheels are very close to your wheel specs, hes running 205/50 I believe
