Mallard --- Congrats... now we can't wait for some pics after the black moldings.
Port --- Really like how the car is looking. I like it better than it did before. You have condensation in your headlight?
Battle --- love the rims. Cars looking ideal. Some shop here in NYC is selling the p1 racing rims in 16in for $550 in White. you think thats a good deal...?
You guys keep talking about blacking out moldings... I need window moldings PERIOD. lol I am gonna have to pay 250 for them because the yunk yards here in NYC don't carry our Civic....so annoying. My car looks like $hit Without the window moldings.

hey battle, do you recommend using that blackout tape to do the window strip? you know, the chipping problem... or should i just try to paint it? i recall you guys mentioning some 3m tape awhile back, but dont know what would be better.
and im loving the progress everyone.. might be too early to think bout eibach, but i would definitely like to see us have our own little section.

if its already chipping, u cant cover it up that well. u will still be able to feel and notice the cracks thru the tape. try to get some mouldings from the junkyard. do u have a dx?

Awesome pics Spoonson and Port!
Got some work done today:
Love some red stickers
And fixed something thats been bugging me since I bought the car:
Never really understood why they even sell and adapter kit for this car since you don't need one but I had an Accord pocket laying around so I replaced the worthless aftermarket one. As for the broken vent, it was like that when I got the car. One of these days hopefully I'll find one in the junkyard or I'll just break down and get a new one. Its part of the whole bezel though so its kinda expensive to replace.
I found this rat's nest behind the radio when I pulled it out:
and Cleaned it up. Unpinned all the extra wires, shortened and soldered and heatshrunk everything:
I can't stand sloppy wiring!!!
Also junked my worn out pedal covers for some good old Black Diamond skateboard tape that I had laying around:
I like em so much I might cover the Sparcos in my coupe with it before I put it back together. Don't mind the nasty carpet. The car had a leaky clutch master when I bought it and new carpet is pretty low on the list of priorities. Eventually though...
Also put the Skunk2 gsr shifter and **** out of my coupe on there, might as well get some use out of it while its up on stands. Didn't get a pic though. I love garage Sundays!
Also, good news! I start my second job on Tuesday, Hopefully I can get caught up pretty quick and start making some progress on the cars again. Its been pretty hard to get by the last couple of months only working like 2-3 days a week

on a side note... mallard has officially went negro. all black moldings now. just need to tidy up the car now. prolly 2nite

I wish mine still looked this good. I'm still driving it, it has a b16a2 now, but it looks like ***. I'm so ashamed. It used to look so good.

amazing pics Spoonson and Port.
4drwhore - white or cream is a nice color for the bay but IMO black and white are contrasting colors. Maybe another dark color for the bay?
