Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
I got a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the UofI. This was my Senior design project. The car was built by a team of ~10 guys. I did the differential design and the brake design. ~700lbs with driver.
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
The Engine is a Honda CBR600 F4i with 20mm intake restriction, Custom (student designed) SLA intake with a carbon fiber wrap. Tuned to ~70HP with a smooth torque curve. The brakes, differential, intake, exahaust pipe and, obviously, the body are all custom. The differential uses the gears from a Eagle Talon TSi center diff and the whole differential can be swapped with a Torsen LSD (we tested the open for active braking reasons).
