Just swap out the rear LCAs. A pair of used USD rear control arms are not expensive, and you can replace the LCA and trailing arm bushings at the same time. These a frequently worn out.

I have a turbo daily driven street car. I do like to drive it very spirited a few days a week. Back mountain roads and regular street/highway driving is what it mainly see. A few passes at the track here and there plus maybe some auto x occasionally. Will be installing an itr 23mm sway bar soon. What setup would fit me best? street or auto x

I've been tossed your way about picking up some coilovers. Right now I'm currently on cut springs and blown struts from the previous jackass owner of my car. I'm in the mitts of replacing an **** ton of suspension parts and this is were I'm going to start.

First off, I drive a 91 civic. I DD this car as it's my only car. I like to run pretty low and when you said you guys have 30mm shorter shocks, it caught my eye...pretty damn quick.

Now the questions I have is, how will the system handle being pretty low? (I'll post a picture). What kind of warrenty is on these systems? And the price is 559 shipped to my door in WA state correct? I do NOT plan on putting a B-Series in my car so no need to worry about that. (D-series FTW)

I just wanna make sure I spend what little money I have the right way and not get screwed over with a shitty product. Thanks for your time Progress! Here's a pic of my current ride heigth.

The 500# rears are pretty harsh for most DD's. I would suggest 350-350 (f&r) for a more "spirited" setup with decent roads. It's the same price. Either of our Progress 22mm or 24mm (adjustable) bar will have more roll stiffness than your (planned) 23mm ITR bar, as it mounts outboard at the shock mount. Take a look at the (downloadable) instructions on our webpages. The great thing about a well-done rear sta-bar is that it will NOT detract from the ride quality on the highway. It's a win-win.

Thanks for your interest,
Team Progress

Default New 350-350 kit offered

We have added a third spring option for this CS-II promotion. We have had some interest in a "middle" calibration, and already shipped a few of these new STREET-SPORT 350#-350# systems. SAME GREAT PRICE.

You are setting pretty low in the photo. For reference, measure 12.0" from wheel center to the fender lip (straight up) front and rear. This is about where we would like to see your ride height. This 12.0" height rides pretty well. But they're coil-overs, so you can do your own thing.

Yep, still $559 shipped to WA via UPS-G thru Feb. One year warranty.
Best Regards,
Team Progress

ONLINE ORDER PROCESSING:
Please disregard the shipping price on your online order. ALL ORDERS placed using the HT.1002 part number will NOT be charged freight (CONUS). Placing an online order on our site does NOT process your CC immediately. We process the orders off-line on the day of shipping. Sorry for the confusion.

If it's not too much of a hassle, would you provide us shock dyno sheets for the CS-II dampers both front and rear?

Very much thanks!

Default Some comments about spring rate selection...

We have responded to many inquiries about multi-use street & track cars, and many questions about spring rate options. This is a (slightly edited) response to a PM from earlier today. It may help some to better understand why we sell what we do...

We consider 10 kg/mm (560#/in) too stiff for the front of these DD applications. That 10kg (560#) front needs about an 800# rear to balance well, and this is a TRACK setup. The CS-II is light on damping for this aggressive setup. It would be a great setup on our custom valved “CS-1” race shocks. We have sold many track kits for SCCA and NASA class cars at 450-650, and it works well on smooth or bumpy tracks, and is a good compromise. These setups favor a driver with some track experience in FWD cars as well.

The investment here (CS-1s) will grow with you. We can service the shocks in our shop, and modify the damping as your experience and goals change. We are running some racing setups in the 700-1200# range, but these racers are experienced, and have worked their way up the ladder. These are NOT the easiest setups to drive fast, and they are less forgiving. The car will be more of a one-fast-line deal, not as forgiving, but faster with an experienced FWD "hotshoe" driving.

If you want to stay at "$559 shipped on the CS-II promotion", you would be happy with the 350-500 setup, so the car will rotate on the track (with a proper alignment, corner weighting, rear sway, tire selection, etc.) This kit will run circles around the “current vogue” of "too-stiff-and-not-enough-damping" setups that are being sold by many vendors now. If you would like to discuss any specifics or details any further, please call us at 800-905-6687 during business hours.

Default Going, going, gone...

The CS-IIs are almost sold out. If you are planning to order a set, please order NOW. We can ship these orders in 5-10 days, as we are building some small components that are needed to ship the last few kits. When these kits are gone, the special will be over for a period of time (TBD).

We are planning on a “more visible” presence here on H-T, and thank you for your continued interest and support.

I just placed my order for the Street/Performance kit. I have heard nothing but remarkable things about the full range of Progress coilovers, so this is one hell of a deal!

Anyone who is looking to upgrade or replace their current setup should look no further. Their product line and support are fantastic!

Thanks for the help today, Ed and Michelle. I will be in touch soon to order a few more products.

Picked these up in cali last weekend drove back to arizona 6 hours and 400 miles later couldn't complain, no back pain and after the drive was over my body felt the same as it did with the stock setup. Still loving the ride. I've always had respect for Progress but this thread really put my confidence in their products over the top.

BTW I'm 28 and a fatty, suspension is the best I've ever driven in a honda.
