Default M2B4, T2T4, difference?

(I tried google and that yielded nothing substantial)

They have the same gear ratios from what I can tell, they both have a LSD. I'm getting ready to buy one to put in my Accord (bought with a H22, synchros are failing) and just want to know if there is any substantial difference to keep an eye out for, or if it is purely because one trans went into a Prelude and the other went into an Accord?

Thank you for the time.

From I know 3rd gear lil shorter with T2T4 that is bout it.

However the cases are different. M2B4 is all by its self on Clutch Housing and case. T2T4 I believe you may be able to put in an aftermarket diff in it. M2B4. I don't think there is an option and is all by itself once again. Synchros should be similar if not same...

I haven't been able to find any forum posts or definitive answer on what Honda's factory limited-slips were, I'm hoping torsen but I suspect viscous? Somehow viscous-couplings seem a bit low-brow for the "red H".

Different cases? Will is still transplant into a CD5/H22A? Is the starter unique to the transmission? My goal is to be able to still use Accord/Prelude maintenance items like the starter or synchro rings/bearings. If the diff is something other than viscous then it will be fine, this will be mostly for DD/autocross with a little drag racing.

CD8, I'll make a post in the Accord picture thread, I was waiting until I cleaned the wheels to take photos.
