i just recently brought this acura 3.2 cl type S, and it has started to give me serious shifting problems. what happens when its driven for more than 2 hours, the 3 to 4th gear is completed with a long delay i.e. RPM goes HIGHER and there is a delay in the shifting from 3 to 4th.
This afternoon i was driving and all of a sudden, the CHECK ENGINE, VSA, D5 lights started blinking (i was like WTF) and the car wouldnt accelerate and it would take a lot of acceleration to get the car speed up a little. And then when i turned the car off and turned it back on everything seemed normal except the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT was still on.

I talked to my friends about it and we think it could probably be one of the sensors that control the transmission, fluid level or torque converter or if its really bad it could be the TRANNY.

Please suggest guys!!! i just need some help big time, please suggest

take it in to the nearest acura dealership asap. acura has a 7 year 9 month/100,000miles powertrain warranty on tl's, cl's, and other v6's. hopefully your with in the warranty. a common problem on the honda/acura v6 trannies
