CAMS?? which type do you reccomend, TYPE R or AFTERMARKET company?
Hey, guys i was wondering, espicially if youve already done cams on your own car, do they free up alot of power? also which type of cams do you reccomend? i have a b16a1, thanks

type r can't be smote in reliability for a stock motor. and power is good too.

Im going mainly for accleration of the line or low end power but whatever gives the best bang for my back is what i want, thanks.

get the CTR cams, they have more lift on the intake side than the ITR cams.

The 2000+ ITR intake cam is the exact same as the 98+ CTR, both exhausts have always been the same... The intake cam over a GSR is noticable but i wouldn't worry about the exhaust... Now on a B16 that's a different story, I ****** hate stock B16 cams and I would get both the intake and exhaust.. The OE R cams are much easier to tune then high lift long duration aftermarket cams... If you wanna go with some big aftermarket cams have a high compression setup with a ported head then be ready to tune it cuz TUNING IS EVERYTHING ... Latez
