Broke fucking water pump bolt off in block!! HELP

Default Broke ******* water pump bolt off in block!! HELP

so was putting on water pump and the bolt broke off in block. tried to get it out only made it worse, now its IN IN the block..... will my water pump leak if i dont drill it out or should i just not make a bad thnig worse?

Yea, but you better make damn sure that you can drill straight..... They are the **** if you can use it right. I had to helicoil a sparkplug hole on a subaru once. I used lots of red thread locker on the coil. It worked well.

crap happened to me,it sucks,i took my block to a machine shop and the drilled it out

remove pump
remove hondabond + residue
clean gasket surfaces again.

With the pump off the bolt should stick-out about 3-4mm, enough to grip it with some pliers.

Dont take shortcuts and hope it'll be ok. ITs your project, so take pride in it dude.

*anyhow, on with the issue... helicoil the damn thing. just do it straight.
