MTX-L issues how many of you have them?
my mtx-l wideband is officially dead. after about a year and a half of real use. i owned it for about 3 years.
not sure when it started acting up but it completely broke down about 6 months ago started throwing E8 error. then readings started getting fucked up and now its just wacko all the time. it only shows afr when im cruising. as soon as i give it gas it goes to 22.4afr or throws E8 error.
in my opinion that is very short time for it to go bad.
i did everything correctly when installing it. used the bung that was supplied with it. welded it before cat.
used either thermostat ground or battery ground and good clean 12 volt source from either underdash main harness or now straight from battery ground and 12 volt with a switch.
every one of the many threads or complaints i see on the internet. innovative always blames the customer for improper use or install.
i think its bs. because ordering new sensor every year is not very cheap compared to other brands that have higher initial cost but i don't see as much issues with them going bad
i know they don't make the sensor but they sell it in a kit. if its somehow poorly designed they should still be responsible since its included in their wideband kit.

I have one. does the same thing as yours. replacements are like 60 bucks. I think its from running the heat up and having it on with the engine off. I've been really meaning to add a toggle for it so I can shut it off manually
