what pistons did you use?
forged pistons tend to be noisy when cold.

This is a fresh build with all new parts and the oil pick up was thoroughly cleaned. It only started to happen after i switched to fully synthetic oil. Yes i do have oil squirters

The motor has Arias high compression pistons is it normal for it to knock on cold startups with forged pistons? and if so why didn't it do it when i was using regular cheap oil? it only started happening after i switched to fully synthetic.

full synthetic oil is thinner.
using full synthetic 10w30 = 5w20/30 regular oil

I Have a GSR And its noisy in the morning

81.5 mm Forged pistons
H-beam rods
acl bearings

My Engine has 17,000 miles on it
8,000 of that is at 260 plus horse power , dozens of 150+ MPH freeway pulls

and my engine has done the same exact oil light issue, takes a few seconds, it knocks for a about a second

I built my engine completly And Im almost 100% sure its normal
But check everything again like: Oil pan for dents(my has one right under the pick up that i do need to fix) things like that Good Luck!
