Dom, use the base coat for the Metalcast this time! It will make it look 10000x better! Were about to do a bike with MetalCast Smoke. I did my Eclipse's Valve Cover with Metal Cast Blue but gotta redo it once I find a sand blaster.

I know track time at Sandia is hard to pass up but the SCCA is having an Autocross that same day, the 23rd, right here in town at the UNM G lot. I'll be there, racing. Any takers?

Yeah, I already knew. Imho though, that course is a joke. So are most the kids that go. SCCA is the real ****.
But...that's good looking out. Thanks.

If you just go to watch, you don't have to pay anything. There's a bus stop or something kind of off to the north east end of the lot where people hang out, they usually put the timing trailer by that. You'll probably have to park at a lot nearby, across the drainage ditch, when you go you'll see all the cars not currently racing their heat over there. Then you can just walk over, be careful not to cross the track. You will have to sign a waiver, but they're all cool.
It's Oct 23, at the UNM G lot. Registration CLOSES at 8:45 so be there on time! Earlier is better so you can get assigned a number and put it on you car! Cost is $30 and they do run/work, so be prepared to race in the morning and work a corner the afternoon, or vice versa. These are all really cool folks so please don't embarrass me in front of them
