Motul 300 in GSR Tranny
I'm currently running Redline MTL in my GSR tranny (without LSD), but need to change it soon. Redline MTL, which is 70W80, is what Redline recommends on their site for most Honda/Acura applications.
Will I be fine switching to Motul 300 (75W90) instead, or should I stick with MTL? Anyone know the weight of Honda MTF?

I used the Motul 300 in my ITR all last year, it gets a big from me
Dont use the Honda MTF for track use, IMO.

Re: Motul 300 in GSR Tranny (.RJ)
I had the Honda MTF in my CRX tranny (w/ 200k miles on it) and was getting a lot of grind into 2nd and 3rd, so I wouldn't recommend it if your syncros are worn at all. If you're open to suggestions, I'm now using SyncroShift2 and it's awesome (but expensive). WAY less grinding and popping out of gear.

Yeah, I wasn't planning on using Honda MTF. I'm just trying to see if I should use the MTL (70W80) or the thicker Motul 300 (75W90).

Re: Motul 300 in GSR Tranny (ChassisInnovations)
I have ran both RedLine MTL (70W80) and MT-90 (75W90) in my GSR with Honda LSD. Other then a little bit of extra effort to get it into 1st when cold with MT-90, I didn't notice any difference.
