I currently have a Sabelt Taurus XL in my car that's about to expire. I've been fairly happy with it (width, height, etc all feel great), except the unusually thick thigh cushion. I've been thinking about purchasing the Recaro Pro Racer HANS XL or OMP HTE-R XL, but I have not had the opportunity to actually sit in either. Has anyone tried these seats that is familiar with the Taurus XL? Looking at the dimensions below the HTE-R XL looks narrow at the shoulders, but I've read that it runs much wider than most XL sized seats. The Pro Racer XL seems to match the Taurus XL dimensions pretty closely except height. The Pro Racer HANS XL seems to be much shorter than both the Taurus XL and HTE-R XL. I tried looking for local dealers for Recaro and/or OMP seats with no success.
