how to remove spray paint, paint job off my car
supp guys i gotta 94 eg hatch original color was teal but i guess who ever had it before me spray painted it yellow with spray paint and gloss. im just tryna find away to remove the yellow paint and get back down to teal if possible.

well if u want to save ur paint job sad to say u have alot of work ahead of you.
your best best is to wet sand the whole car down with 1000 grit til u get the paint off then after that go from 1000 to 1500 then finish off with 2000 then give it a good buff

if it's actually spray paint, use lacquer thinner and the paint should wipe right off. If that doesn't work or it blisters the paint underneath (it shouldn't, OEM paint won't be affected by thinner), then just sand it down and repaint it. Honestly that's probably what you'll have to do anyway. Wetsanding the whole car and trying to save the finish underneath is just a waste of time.
