2011-2016 Odyssey sunroof leaks and drain locations
I have a 2012 Odyssey EX-L Navi that has a sunroof leak. I am trying to find the locations of all the water drainage ports of the sunroof and how to clean or clear them . Also how to seal the sunroof to slow excessive water intrusion or how to adjustment of the glass section that would eliminate excessive water intrusions.

The drains are located in the corners of the moonroof frame. You can test them by opening the moonroof and slowly pouring water into the track. You'll be able to see the water flow down into the front two drains. The rear ones are not so easy to see, but each corner will drain out at the corresponding wheel well.
To adjust the moonroof, close the glass and open the shade. If I remember correctly there is a little square cover on each side of the plastic trim attached to the glass. Carefully pop each cover off and remove the Phillips screw from the trim. Slide the plastic trim either forward or backward to release and remove it (I don't remember which way off hand). You'll find a torx bolt at each corner. I think it is a T30 but again, it's been a while. Loosen but don't remove the bolts and press up on the glass until the seals are just slightly below flush with the roof. Retighten the torx bolts. This is much easier with two people but can be done solo. Test the seal by running a hose over it while monitoring from inside. You can pull down on the headliner to pop it loose if you want a bit more visibility. Just be sure your hands are clean and you don't crease it.
These seals are not designed to be fully water tight. You can expect to see a few drops get past the seal but should drain out without incident.
One more thing to consider when dealing with a leak at the headliner is the drip rails that run along each side of the roof. I have seen a few of these leaking onto the headliner at the welded studs that hold the moldings in place. It seems to be especially prevalent on vehicles equipped with roof rails. Body sealant can be applied to these problem areas and the moldings and rails can be reinstalled.

A quick correction on my previous post. Odysseys do not have the plastic trim covering the adjustment bolts so just slide the shade back and you'll be able to access them. The bolts are actually T25 torx not T30.
