K24 Del Sol Project

K24 Del Sol Project
Good evening All!
I recently acquired a 1993 Del Sol with a blown d16 and good manual transmission. I also have a hydro locked K24 out of a 2010 Tsx. I have done some research on this motor and hear it has potential even on a basic level. I was looking for some technical information. I was thinking of doing a build on this K24 engine myself and installing it in a Del Sol and looking for a 25-35lb turbo to go in the mix. If I do the basic math I believe this set up could get me just under 600hp on a stock build. Any pros/cons on this project? I have yet to find a Del Sol with a K24...numerous K20's. Thanks
Michael

Re: K24 Del Sol Project
Most of your questions can be found on K20a.org. The engine bay of a Del Sol is no different than that of a Civic or Integra, save for the fuse box and some miscellaneous wiring. Many K24 swapped Del Sols in fact do exist. There was a guy in Hawaii that swapped a K24 into his Del Sol back in 2005, but I'm not too sure if he still has the car or if he even lives on the island. Happy researching and good luck on your build.
