Default Help!! E85 in k24, ITB, VTC and admision cam k20....(but stock internals)

Hello everyone.

I am Victor from spain(caceres).

I am doing me Civic ep3 with swap k24, and I want to get the maximum possible performance.
Me engine have:

- K24a3 (europe edition, cilinder head is similar k20, is k24a3 190hp) stock internals(pistons and connecting rods stock).
- admision camshaft k20a3 and vtc 50 degrees of k20a3
- TODA ITB-s
- 4-2-1 exhaust manifolds
- k20 oil pump
- hondata kpro

Me questions they are:

- Complet Exhaust side exit 3" Is correct For this engine?? I ask For side exit...

- and moré important, can I gain hp and torque with e85, Yet how taking stock block? How many??

- Does anyone it has proven k24 or k20 stock? Can you tell me your experience?

Thanks very much everyone!! Greetings!!

Hi Victor,
Sounds like a nice setup you have there. I think people arent answering because a lot of these things have been covered over and over. I understand that English is not your native language and that makes this much harder for you so that is the main reason I am actually helping out.

3 inch is perfect for an all motor k24, I assume side exit means out by the rear wheel correct? Some people might think you mean out the front fender, like directly out of the header like pro drag cars, but if you mean full exhaust just out the side by the rear wheel, then definitely go 3inch, anything less and you sacrifice power.

e85 can net some extra power without changing anything else but the tune, mainly due to being able to advance timing because of the higher octane rating. Keep in mind this requires 30% more fuel for the same power on average with e85 vs pump gas, so you may need to make some changes to your fuel system.

Not sure what you are asking on the last question. Are you asking if anyone has used e85 on a stock k20 or k24? I dont think that would really do anything

Hello!

Yes, i dont speak english weel, i try to read moré post but cant undertand well, why i wrote this post.

Yes, side exit is in rear right whell, 3".

Me Question Is if E85, can make more power (hp and torque), in a k24 engine With stock internals like me engine(pistons and conecting rods original, original compression: 10.5:1 ), And
if you know someone who has practiced with e85 and engine stock, and has had good results.

Thanks very much for réply!!

A lot of people use e85 on forced induction engines but I would assume you can use it and gain power with a proper tune, just not as much power as a forced induction engine.
