Hello! 89 Civic ef hatch
Hey guys! Just bought my first honda and oh boy does it need a lot of work. 220k with a seemingly ok motor but a broken almost everything else. Ill get more detailed with pics on another thread but ye. I'm not new to the car world so although I plan on doing everything myself, even the swap etc, the help of the internet will definitely be needed. If anybody is doing a similar build HMU id love to see what you've got going on and see your ideas!

Ya I guess right now it needs a lot tho just to stay running since its also my daily. Just did serpentine belt and brake booster but it still has a spiratic idle thinking a vacuum leak since the intake and half the system is held together with zip ties. My front end feels like its gonna fall off so lots to do there its also overheating and I thought it was because my fans aren't on witch is a problem but it will like seem like its cooling ok then not so not totally sure there either. Im so far from all the fun stuff! Haha but Ill be running tens like you SOMEDAY. Ok maybe not tens but you know haha. You know how much you've invested in yours total?

Re: Hello! 89 Civic ef hatch
I just purchased my EJ2 for $175 off the side of the highway, I have completely gutted it including the dash and i am going to put my 11:1 compression y8 motor in it till i can build a boosted motor , I work at Summit Racing so it wont cost me as much as it normally would but, i am still going to be pouring money into this thing. I will post pics of how it was when i bought it and what i have done once my trial period is over ... lol

I pulled the dash and started accenting it...
All of the red on the car is the same color, its a candy apple metallic.
