Im very new to the Honda scene and have a 89 EF civic, I was wondering if I could do a kswap and if so, what parts should I acquire and I'd appreciate any advice I can get. Thanks guys

 

Since you are new, my advice is to go with a B series if you want a swap in that car. It is much much easier and cheaper to do!!

K series are awesome engines, and with a lot of money and labour can be swapped in. I do n't think it's worth the trouble though, you would be better off with a k series pwered car to begin with and go from there

 

Thanks man I appreciate the input, I already have a b16 in it. It was just a stab in the dark, say I were to build my b16, is there any advice u could give me or maybe a list of parts I should go with?

 

With a b series the options are almost endless, just look fpr reputable brands. If in doubt look at HT vendors and dicuss with them what you want to accomplish (all motor / boosted)
