what did you use to calibrate the speed (gps, mile marker and stop watch)

when you change tire size, the calibration is off. tire sizes can distort up to 18%. this means your number can go from p4000 up to p4750.

Honestly i stumbled across the frequency via a hondatech archive post, i never saved it but i copied down all the info on my iphone. I keep cross refering the mph on my cluster against my s300 cause it reads vehichle speed, its right on the money, even when i switched my tranny from type R to Ls.

there is a diference in the F/d on an LS and typeR.

just as there is a difference in rotations per mile in 16 and 15 in wheels.

sorry, but you need an accurate speed detection device to get your speed proper.

these numbers are just base numbers, every ones number with be diifferent.

great info! its really helping me as i do my cluster wiring although i found a few things that i thought i should point out in case anyone else is doing it

i'm doing the cluster on my 95 gsr so it applies tio the 94 - 97 dc2

Connector A

Pin 9 is supposed to be red/yellow not red/white

For the wires on Connectors A-D from the s2k pig tails that are not listed, do they not need to be conencted to anything?
As well as wires from Connectors on the integra pig tails including the 3 wires from the 3rd connector which i believe is for the srs since you didn't list it?

Input from anyone is appreciated

Thanks

I think it is inpossible, becouse, the Civic use VSS and the S2K's speedometer is a hallseneor and the signal is totaly different. The VSS signal must be converted because the Cluster wont't recognise it, only the tachometer will show right values.

Sorry to bring this back up from the past....

-Are there any updates or new units to solve the VSS and water temp readouts?

-Also, I hear 2 things about the gas tank level still. Is this a straight "tap and play" or do I need to install something to read the correct level?

Thank you for your time....

I believe you about the odometer being stored separately, i have no clue, but i know my schematic shows constant power to B5 and D16. Check it out and let me know if you have those wires listed on your or not and what you think they are for.

As for the VSS, i see where it splits now, So do you think tapping into an aftermarket digital speedometer to get a signal will work? I've got the electrical vss already to get the nordskog guage a signal.

also, the blu/wht wire i see coming from the vss to the cluster and ecm, but what is the yel/blu wire for? it comes from the ecm to the vss.

  • Hi i am installing an s2000 cluster to my eg k series i am runing a k20z3 with magnetic speed sensor i am using kpro but i dont know how to wire the sensor to my speedo or to the ecu can you help me
