Default EK OBD2 ECU SWAP???

I have done the B18B obd2(98) into the 97 civic dx. I get the car inspected and it has passed for the last 2 years(with p75 ecu), no check engine light . Now they changed the law to where if you have any "not ready" you will automaticlly fail, even if your check engine light is off. I have the "not ready" for my fuel tank pressure sensor. I was wondering if I used the dx ecu for the b18b it wouldn't even check for a fuel tank pressure sensor. Could I even wire this up??? I know the iacv has eliminated the orange wire, but what does that wire do? Also the crank sensor had 3 wires and I eliminated the one. I am pretty sure its a ground so should I be worried about it. I know I have to switch a12-a14 back. Anyone know if this would work? Inspections are getting tougher in Texas, soon it will be like Cali Thanks for all the help.

Charles
