wrong firing order?
i swapped out the h22a4's ext. coil from my motor(cause the plugs dont match with the EG wiring harness, and swapped it for a jdm internal coil dizzy. my problem is that the real order for the firing order is: 1,3,4,2
34
12
well, when trying to start the car, it sputterd and died. so i changed it to:
42
31
when i ran it with this combo it ran better. why does it run differently from others?
in addition, i took the car to the shop to find out why, he said my timing was off 30 degrees, so he but off 2 of the distributor brackets to advance it a whole lot. i mean that its not point up 90 degrees. rather, bent back more than the brackets could go, to a 45 bend backwards and having a bolt holding it from falling back or forward. ill have some pics soon, but for now does anyone know why my distributor is like that?
the specs are 93 cx w/ 97' h22a4 swap. EG harness w/ kenji b-series chipped spec p28(obd1)
