what (if anything) to replace with timing belt/water pump for 90k?
doing my 90k service on my 96vtec, what if anything should i replace with the timing belt and water pump. I've heard maybe timing belt tensioner bearing, balance shaft belt, are these really necessary? anything else necessary? or could they wait till the next timing belt change? really trying to keep costs down right now. thanks for any info

Well...i'd definately do the Timing belt and water pump - thats a must....and whatever else you 'feel' you need....if you're trying to keep costs down....just do the belt and pump....

Re: (NaptownKing)
might as well check your accessary belts while you're in there also. I mean everything is already apart, and they'll need a replacement some day.

I would do it right the first time than wait. Waiting usually happens when you are least ready for it. It also ends up costing more in the longrun.
I would change the timing belt tensioner to an h23 manual, cam seals if they are leaking, and balance shaft belt.
If you need OEM honda cam seals, brand new, let me know. I have 2 still in the plastic packaging. $8 shipped for both.
