Default Secondary O2 sensor

Hey guys, just recently I installed a header and a catback exaust on my car. And very recently my cel came on which gave me a code 65 - which concerns my secondary o2 sensor. The people at Honda motors told me to buy a new o2 sensor which would put me back about $250CDN. 3 questions:

1. Are aftermarket o2 sensors reliable?
2. Is there a way to get my ecu to bypass the o2sensors?
3. What is usually the problem when people install catbacks and their 02sensors get tripped? - and what do they (or you) do to fix it?

thanks
