Need Help on new swap
So my H23 gaved up on me and I had a spare f22a1 so i swapped that in using the h23 harness and H23 intake manifold on the f22a1. Problem! It wont start? I tried cranking it but all I hear is a loud stretchy noise.. and alot gasoline is leaking from a tube that connect to the intake manifold? what could this problem be? Help?

Look around first for lil stupid **** you might've missed..
Grounds (Are the needles jumping when u turn it? When u swapped it in did you properly place the motor ground?)
Connections (Battery terminal, Starter, Starter ground, ect)
Is the Battery itself ANY good at all?
Also, FUSES (Engine bay and Cockpit), Relays..Obviously it isn't your pump or fuel relay..just throwing it out there brainstorming with u..

Re: Need Help on new swap
as WavyIntegra said, check all the grounds, fuses, relays, If you are throwing a CEL look it up and correct the issue. After checking all the swapped parts that could be off or unplugged, broken, etc. you need to check for spark and fuel, and if you still cant figure out whats goin on perhaps you should administer a compression check to be sure the motor is even good in the first place. Good luck.

Re: Need Help on new swap
Yeah thanks, well when I took the f22a1 out of a running car like 3 days ago before putting it in this one, So i guess the compression should be good. yeah... i've been hearing bout checking my battery so later today I'm going to try to jump start it and see what happens.. I'll be sure to check the ground wires also. thanks.

Re: Need Help on new swap
FYI: I'm starting the car without the alternator belt on, so that could be a possible reasoning why the battery could be dead right??
