Mahle Pistons
Has anyone used these? from what I have been told by a Mahle vendor is they are designed to run in OEM sleeves. I know Mahle makes a great product, but was wondering if anyone had any experience with these pistons yet...

Re: Mahle Pistons (v4lu3s)
The downside is that the Mahle distributors are all involved in other forms of motorsports (V8,VW, etc) and dont really know a whole lot about Hondas... The only pistons they have available for Hondas are their forged 4302 pistons which, amongst popular belief have been proven to be non FRM compatible... Mahle pistons are not quite up to par with JE, Wiseco, CP, Arias... If you do some research on Mahle youll find several articles written in the mid 80's of Mahles trials and tribulations in the V8 world... When they got into NASCAR racing they were the only piston manufacturer out whos pistons literally crumbled under racing conditions...
The upside of Mahle is the fact that they arent all that expensive, for a mild B series aplication where you dont need to sleeve the block it may be an ok choice... But even than, your going with a lesser quality piston when in comparison to the others listed above...

i had never dealt with Mahle pistons with v8's before only VWs and they were good to me there. if 4302 is not gonna work with stock walls im not gonna mess with em for now.
