How many RPMs is the H22 bottom end good for?
Probably been asked a million times but you know the search sucks.
Edit: I meant stock bottom end.

about 8000 rpms max...but i really dont think youll get any power after 7500 rpms on stock cams

slight edit... past about *7300. The only reason you shift past this point is to set you up for a nicer starting point int he next gear. ie: 1st to second to keep you in VTEC.

I used to go to 8500 rpms on my stock H22a bottom. Id only recommend going to 8000 rpm max permitting your cams will allow you to go that high while making power!

Thanks for the replies. Yeah I meant if I beefed up my top end with a valvetrain and cam profile that makes power higher than stock I was wondering what the bottom end can handle.
