Default Help with my pde hf1

Hi I'm trying to figure out exactly wit head I have on my h22a4. I'm looking and thinking of doing some upgrades like im and a Neptune or hondata s300 but not sure on which ones to choose. Thanks any info would be great

The head will have a stamped code, either P13 or PDE. PDE are fairly rare, so if you have a stock H22A4, its probably a P13.

You should research your mod path based on what you want to do with the car, but a good start is a good programmable ecu setup. Go with whatever your tuner is most comfortable working with, because a baller ecu is no good if the tune is crap.

It definitely is a pde hf1 head which I find odd cus the mani says p13 and p5m!??? Thanks for the info

I was planning on s300 and a skunk 2 pro series mani that way i can use p28

It's not common but 2000-2001 USDM H22A4 few came with a PDE head. Valve angle is slightly different and slightly smoother casting only on intake side.

Ok thank you, so it's a better head than the p13!??? And can it maybe be a type s/ euro r or no?

It is just a head... everything else will be USDM... so no stiffer valve springs like EuroR/Type S. P13 internals.

I have a 2001 prelude and am doing s300 trying to figure out wut jumper harness I need obd2a to obd1 or obd2b- obd1 and wits the difference between the two? Thanks

Obd2a to obd1 obd2b doesn't seem to be nearly as common on us cars but I think some specific cars are. JDM Euro R motor is obd2b
