Default H22A build

I have a 94 prelude si with a jdm h22a swap in it i really want to build this car up to 320 - 350 hp and i have read up on alot of builds. there is one thing i am still not sure about can i bore it 25 over or not. i know ill have to resleeve it and i want to put je pistons and eagle h beam rods in it. i also want to know weather i should run high compression pistons or low compression if i want to run 10lbs or more turbo

1 mm = .03937 inches
10 over = .010 inches larger
25 over = .025 inches larger

So an 87 mm stoke bore with a 25 over would equal 87.635 (rounded). I'm pretty sure my math is right...

Most sleeve kits for the H22 can handle up to a 90 mm bore. Just tell the shop you want the sleeves bored to 89 mm. With compression on a turbo application you want to go lower, like 9:1. If you only plan on running 10lbs of boost, the stock compression of 10:1 would be fine too. (I'm not sure if the JDM H22 has the same stock compression as the USDM counterpart)

I would agree with this as well; run a 9:1 CR. As far as the stock CR on the JDM motor....I believe it is higher (10.6:1) than the USDM motor.

I figured it might be but I figured I'd leave a little research up to the original poster.

The Type-S has 11:1... The H22a Si Vtec has 10.6:1. Same as USDM Vtec.
That's why people always wanna swap to Type-S pistons.

I can't believe with how old these cars are people still don't know the compression on the stock engines...

USDM H22a1 10:1
JDM H22a 10.6:1
Type S, Euro R, SiR S-Spec 11:1
