'97 Prelude's odometer light dims from time to time?
Hey, I have another question regarding my car. The light for the odometer started to dim from time to time. It would dim, go back to normal, and then dim again. Anyone experience this problem before? Thanks.

Re: '97 Prelude's odometer light dims from time to time?
Thats normal. The alternator control system, within the ecu, changes the voltage
generated at the alternator to improve fuel economy, depending on driving conditions.
The effect of this is a slight dimming on and off of some lights. When i installed a
voltmeter last year i found this out. The voltage will ocsillate between 12.3V~ to 14.3V~.
Certain parameters will keep the voltage constant, like having the a/c on or headlights on.
So basically dont worry its completely normal.
