Default Long trips, how was it?

So, I'm thinking about riding my R6 about 225 miles all straight highway. I've put 300 miles on my F4i in one day, but most of it was windey, back roads, with the occasional 20-30 mile straights. How tiring is it going to be? I think the most I've ridden on highway in one sitting is probably about 60 miles in a straight line. I was just wanting some insight on this before I do it.

stop often(every hour or however long your **** is speaking to you) and you will be okay. shift positions, "elbow on the tank" etc will help you with cramping. take intersting side trips if your so inclined, this makes everything... well... intersting

The only thing that bothers me about the side trip thing-- which I thought about doing-- is that my fuel gauge is inoperable. I don't want to be in the middle of nowhere without fuel. I thought about trying to find highways to take instead of the interstate. I know I can get about 210 miles out of my tank.

wow, 210 miles per tank is awesome!

Like everyone else said just keep moving around on the bike so you don't get uncomfortable. I spend alot of time with one hand on my leg, or the tank, and often times move my heels to the pegs and pidgeon tow way out for comfort.

It's 175 miles from my school to my house and i ride that a few times during the school year. I'll be doing it tomorrow infact.

I've done 960 miles one way in a day from Ne to Nm. You'll take a plenty of breaks b/c you'll need gas every 150 or so. I was fine until the last 2 hrs when I had to pull a super man on my bike. I did w/o a throttle meister as well.

You'll be fine!

I was doing 100mph and my light would come on at 130miles on my 05 GSXR 600. I would probably get 160 out of that tank. I think you'll be fine.
