Dome light burned out already....LED replacement.
I can't believe my dome light burned out so quickly. I've had the Fit for 9 months.
I replaced it this morning with a 9-LED light. I am going to dig up the camera tonight and take a photo of the light output.
It is composed of the super white LEDs, so, I'm hoping it will be a nice change.

Re: (eL)
It is rather hard to gauge the actual light output from my images. I did the best I could w/ my Point-and-shoot camera to grab as much light as possible.
The bulb that was installed was this...in clear...
Shot of the dome light with LED on...
Shot of front seats with light on...(maybe I should have opened shutter more)

I've had that 9-LED lightbulb - quite frankly the output sucks, unless you want it that dark

That LED is MUCH, MUCH better

This might be a better solution too, though I've never tried it:

costs $21.95

It's not as bright as the OE bulb. It reminds me of those blue colored bulbs they used to sell as 'mood lights' years ago...
I think this is mostly because the LEDs are facing one direction so most of the light output is directed straight down. I don't mind the toned down light; it is better than being blinded by the dome light while driving if you have to turn it on.

The dome light setup you refer to here is much more expensive. I just want to make it clear that you are comparing the light output of $22.00 and up setups to my $2.00 bulb.
Sure, the LED dome light setup is bright. They advertise it as "HID for your interior". but the application that people are using for the Fit is $35.95.

I bought this Dome light off ebay:

I had to modify it, so it wasn't exactly plug and play application. I cut the board in half and used the other half for the hatch.
Here's my post from Fitfreak about it:

It's similar to this one, but apparently this one is plug and play:

And here's some pics from Ben's at AJR, make sure to see the before and after pics on page 2 (plug and play as well):

Thanks for the info. Those all look good. And you did a good job on your own DIY.
I'm going to continue to do some research on this. I might try to do a DIY one, because I want to do the DIY with my 3rd brake light (found a nice write up on FitFreak).
