hi guys, the maintenance light just went on. its a integra rs and could it be the high beam bulb and the backup light bulb thats gone? i have to change the bulbs anyways, just wanted to know if thats the problem. plus i forgot how to reset the maintenance light, so i have to disconnect the battery and then leave it for 2 min? or something like that?

if anyone knows the exact procedure id really appreciate it if i get the answer by tom morning cause i gota do safety and emission test on it.

Maintenance light is nothing but a timer, comes on every 7,500 +- 50 miles. Just reset it , you will be fine.

 

is this diagram the same for all tegs?

Yes all tegs that have a maint req light have the reset button in the same location

that jus happened to me recently there is a small square button underneathe the steering wheel in the back u cant miss it if u look under the steering wheel ...what u do is turn the key till all light flash on the cluster but dont turn on the car and press and hold the square button until the maint. light stops flashing....then take the key out and put the key back in and turn on the car n it should have stopped flashing.. this happens every 40k miles to remind of maint. (ex. spark plus, oil) jus dumb stuff ..hope this helps anyone out there havin trouble....DC2 &lt;3
