Intermediate shaft/ axle problems
The half shaft I'm using has a female end and the axle has the male end. Is this right for a gsr tranny. I'm assuming not since its leaking oil and the seal looks fine to the eye. I know the b16 half shaft has the male end and the axle has the female end. So is the one I'm using out of a 92 up?

Re: Intermediate shaft/ axle problems (13g-crx)
90-93 axles and mid shaft have the female part on the mid shaft
94 and up axles and mid shaft have the male part on the mid shaft
90-93 auto mid shafts are different and won't bolt up. Im not sure about 94-up auto midshafts.
Are you leaking tranny fluid from the passenger side?
what tranny type and axle/mid shaft combo are you running?

you just need to change the seal at the transmission where the intermediate shaft goes in - transmissions for 90-93 using the intermediate shaft, like you have, use a different seal than the 94-up transmissions, which have the intermediate shaft with the male end
