Fuel pump not priming.

Fuel pump not priming.
I have a B16 in my CRX and im having an issue where my fuel pump will not prime. The car ran and drove fine for months on the P28 with a rywire B-series budget harness. I was in the process of fixing the wires that go to the old resistor box when this issue happened. I went to start the car and did not hear the fuel pump prime and the car did not get any fuel when I went to start. So I swapped the ECU with another P28 I had laying around, the car primed and started fine for about 10 min when it decided to die. Im guessing one of the ECU wires that goes to the main relay grounded out and blew up the switch that controls the fuel pump prime inside the ECU. I can put a positive wire into the fuel pump wire on the main relay ( NO. 7 in the pic) the fuel pump turns on and stays on. The car starts up and runs fine, im just concerned the fuel pump or wires may burn up if I leave it like this. Im wondering, if my ECUs are bad can I just hardwire my fuel pump to a switch and bypass the main relay successfully and reliably?

Re: Fuel pump not priming.
If you already checked your fuses and relays, i would simply use a digital multimeter. Start with the fuel pump and see if you get voltage when you you turn your key to battery on. If no voltage just keep going down the fuel pump wires. Make sure ground is good, however in this case make sure ou are getting power in your wires, relays etc, then you'll have a better assumption
