You have to buy a whole new distributor assembly to replace the crankshaft position sensor.
Here is the Factory Service Manual to see what the issue is.
The pics are kinda small, if you can't read them let me know, I will send you the PDF file for the troubleshooting.

that guy doesn't know what he is talking about - on OBD2 engines, there is a sensor behind the crank pulley, however, it is not the CKP (Crank Position Sensor) but is the CKF (Crankshaft Speed Fluctuation Sensor) and is only read by OBD2 ECUs - you have a CKP problem and the sensor is in the distributor - probably not the sensor that is bad - more likely, the bearings for the distributor shaft are worn allowing the shaft to move laterally and causing the sensor to, in effect, short out - best get a different distributor - very common problem on B-series engines - most people that i know with a B16A carry a spare distributor since they are constantly going out

good advice ^
op: now that you made us aware you did a dpfi to mpfi conversion it seems quite possible that you simply reversed these wires. double check the wiring and make sure its going to the right spot on the ecu. if that's not the problem then the next step would be to replace the dizzy because the CKP is inside it.
