Shock/spring install question
How much a shop usually charge for install all 4 shocks and springs on a 98 civic coupe?
Is there anything I should get/replace while doing this ?
Thanks,
T

do it yourself its so easy
first time i did it took me like 2-3hrs
but after that knowing all the shortcuts takes me 10-15min per tire

if you do it yourself be sure to buy some extra lca bolt just incase they break
spray pb blaster on all the bolts for couple of days

Just ask questions on h-t and we'll help you out. A shop quoted me around $260 for installing new springs plus an alignment. I said f it and found this diy and followed it: http://speed-society.com/forum...t.php
It's not specifically for new spring/shock install, but it has all the info you need.

to piggyback, i'd use "screw-loose" on those stubborn bolts, it works wonders.

Re: (b204dr)
I say do it yourself.
The first real mod I did was springs on my old 94 integra. It took me and my friends a lot longer than it should have, and I ended up killing two shocks. Yet I learned a lot in the process.
Now I could probably do it with my eyes closed. Take a weekend afternoon and learn a bit about your car...
