rearview mirror install help

Default rearview mirror install help

ok they car i bought the rearview mirror fell off how do i get it back on? i've tried to numeros times but i cant get it tight it just hangs loose and will come right off

It should just screw in right? Mehbe the holes are stripped or something?

i'm sorry did i ask for a bs answer?

its a saimple question of something i have never had to do so i dont know. i can do motor swaps with my eyes colsed and fix other things but i have never had to fix a rearview mirror and like i said in my first post i have tried and cant get it tight i dont know if i missing a piece or something special you have to do to get it on right

Perhaps you can close your eyes and install the mirror.
Or better yet drive with your eyes closed and your won't need a mirror at all.


It's a no brainer. Look at any other car in your driveway.

Not too many moveable parts to confuse the issue.

I can't help......If it was a RHD mirror I might know the answer

Buy a windshield adhesive and mount just the metal brace not the entire thing let the adhesive dry and you should be good to go

the part the screw goes into could be stripped...try a lil thicker screw if u want to ghetto rig it and just smash the screw in there..and maybe throw some super glue on it lol
