Default rear view mirror help

hey guys. i have a 97 civic hatchback i got a slight problem with my rear view mirror. i have a system in my car and it is lowered, so when i drive on a bumpy road or blast my stereo, my rear view mirror gets out of placed. my rear view mirror always moves out of the place i set it too. its starting to get very annoying. its very loose. does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Some people use electrical tape to fix it.

I used to have the same problem, but instead of using electrical tape (cause i didn't know how to do it before), i bought a new rear view mirror.

I don't really know what it's called, the bushing or something. You will notice this when you take out the rear view mirror.

If you want, you can buy mine for $20.00.. lol

buy another used mirror? Drill a hole somewhere to put a set screw? Take the ball part out and paint the inside with epoxy or something.

electric tape works somewhat but i live in az so once it gets hot its just worse along with the added weight of my broadway mirror. i think im gunna use thumpers idea and just drill a hole to put a screw in it so i can move it to where needed and tighten it
