Default Rear View Mirror Problem

I have a problem with my rear view mirror, it doesn't stay put once I move it to the desired position. It tends to slope down as I drive and it doesn't stay put. I was wonder if there is something that I can do? Thank you very much in advance.

Cheap temporary fix: wrap a rubber band around the entire mirror, getting tighter and tighter on the neck, or the pivot point. This will hold it steady for you.
