Power door lock swap (install) *stock* OEM parts
so i have a 94 sol and want power locks, now i believe i have got all the stock parts together to make this possible. hopefully someone has done this to help me along a little. i have not found the answer ive been looking for in any other posts.
i have gathered the power lock system from a 95 vtec and a local junk yard...
control module, actuators, 2 door switch so i can install a switch on both doors. only 1 switch is shown in pic, i figure i can just wire them both up to same wires on the module and both will work.
i have also found a wiring schematic on this system. i do not have the door harnesses nor the dash harness from this 95 vtec but i figure i can just manually run the wires. seems easy enough. the part that i am confused/stuck on is how to run the power to the battery, it shows that i run it to the fuse box. i found the power door lock fuse location on my 94 witch is empty as of now (obviously, no power locks). so do i run the hot lead from the module the the fuse box to this "empty" door lock fuse. and how is this done (through the back of it somehow?) and then from there is says to run the hot lead from the fuse box to the underhood fuse (witch one?) and how. do i use one of the option o\ports on the in dash fuse box (on of the BATT ones?) do i need to drop the fuse box under the dash to wire the hot lead from module to it. im lost at this spot. any help is appreciated. i have not been able to find a write up on this either.
so all and all my main question is how do i wire a hot to the fuse box install a 20a fuse the run to the under hood fusebox and to the battery. thanks again for your time.

wouldn't installing your own 20a fuse (inline) be the same thing and less of a headache?
get your 12v from c915 or c916 from the under dash fuse panel and install in inline fuse, you now have a power source for your module. if you have no connector to plug into those spots a female blade terminal will work.
this is how i wired mine. this is on a 2000 civic but wiring looks the same, and has the same colors.... good luck!

oh awesome, this will help alot. this is the reason i posted....my brain was not working, installing the fuse in line is an obvious way to go. and this female blade connector is? where can i find one? it also may be possible for me to hit the junk yard and get the proper connector from another delsol with some kind of options on it. but knowing what connector you are talking about in a definite backup. thanks alot this will help very much

you need that style connector, they are used for the fog lights. you should find one on any 96-00 civic down near the washer fluid reservoir. it should be wrapped in blue tape and there will also be another under the dash somewhere. you will need the male side of the connector.

Another option is to actually pin the connectors on the back of the fuse panel and keep your "option connectors" available. Deschlong and many others have done adding power lock/window write ups.

If anything the install would be cleaner since the Del Sol is similar to the EG/EJ panel.

Yep, no harm in doing it the correct way. Kinda too bad you cut the harness... taking the whole door harness would have made your life easier. Add to that, the pigtails going through the door and your life is made easier even further.
