its a 2000 civic ex with a d16y7 block and y8 head. all stock now exept for the 255 walbro fuel pump and a fpr thats still hooked up. I checked that fuse and it was blown. I replaced it and took both + and the - battery terminals and left it for about 30 minutes and then I cranked it I am still getting those codes.

Does the engine run?
Remove the 7.5A Back Up fuse under the hood for 10 minutes to clear the codes. Then drive the car and post CEL codes that are thrown.
Check whether the CKF sensor is unplugged or whether the wires are damaged. Also check whether any EVAP system vacuum hoses are disconnected or leaking.

yeah the engine runs but its real sluggish its running rich there is black carbon soot on the plugs. I checked the back up fuse under the hood it was blown so i replaced it and checked again still the same codes so i pulled the fuse back out and I erased the codes using my code reader. I cranked it back up and the 1297 and the 1337 code came back.

Why do you have so many blown fuses?
Do you have a 3-wire or 4-wire alternator? Is the AltC wire cut?
Does your hood fuse box have an ELD?
Is the CKF sensor unplugged?

Re: need help big time
its a three wire alt and i dont see any cut wires I know I didnt cut any. ( Does your hood fuse box have an ELD? ) what is an ELD? The ckf is plugged but it looks like the timing velt may be hitting the sensor. It has a mark on it about the same size as the metal part on the sensor. Im gonna pull the crank pulley of tommorow and look at it.

Re: need help big time
Your USDM ECU looks for an ELD in the hood fuse and must be matched with a 4-wire USDM alternator rather than a 3-wire Canada alternator.
Sounds like the CKF sensor wires are damaged.

Re: need help big time
ok heres the update. I got the p1297 code to go away. I replaced the ELM and that did it. I put a new ckf sensor on hoping it would eliminate the p1337 code but it didnt. I still have the other two codes on as well. The p0453 and p0450 pending. Any ideas
