Heater will not blow warm or hot air
searched couldn't really find nothing.
93 cx, i took the motor out to clean the engine bay and motor/tranny and replace the clutch. after putting the swap back in the heater stopped blowing warm/hot air straight cold air. the heater worked fine before all of this.
i drove 150 miles and checked both radiator hoses both where hot. thermostat is working, radiator fan is working, car temp guage is normal(below half). dosent over heat at all, all hoses and line are hooked up correctly.bleed the coolant, this is my dd and its getting cold now my windows fog up like crazy.

Re: heater is not blowing warm/hot
In the engine bay there are two hoses on the fire wall, next to it is a valve, check if the cable didn't come loose from that valve GL!

X2 check the heater valve at your firewall and also the coolant lines there. One of those coolant lines should be hot/warm after your engine has warmed up

Did you bleed the cooling system like this:
(may take 20-30 minutes)
1) Park the car on an inclined driveway with the front end higher than the rear.
2) Push the dash heater lever/**** to MAX heat.
3) Follow the directions in the diagram below (hint: the bleed bolt is located where the upper radiator hose connects to the engine):

You could try flushing it out with a garden hose prior to replacing it.
But are you absolutely sure that the heater hose valve on the firewall is not stuck closed?

Re: Heater will not blow warm or hot air
ill try flushing it out with the hose.
but the cable that opens and closes it is on tight, switched it multiple times with my hand, should i take the hose off and see if the valve is even moving?

Re: Heater will not blow warm or hot air
valves are easy to come by at the junk yard, and i seen where the arm will move but valve inside actually does not. check it out. i had problems in my 98 ended up tryin a number of valves and finally got the rite vavle/bracket and jus disconnected the wire from under the dash n pulled it out through the fire wall now jus manually open/close the valve b4 i go out accordingly

Re: Heater will not blow warm or hot air
you know i tried this like to open the valve under the hood i took off the hose and moved it and water started flowing out and i would move it the other way and the water would stop does this mean the valve works
