Both sort of. When I put my old exhaust (HB) onto my friends (Coupe) the b-pipe slightly tapped the underbody (didn't bother fixing it since it was so minor) and we had to lengthen the axleback right bofore the muffler.

it will fit for the most part except for the muffler itself.
i tried to save my EJ1 worldsport exhaust by modding it for the hatchback, but even after cutting off 8.5" of piping from the axleback muffller, it still didn't fit properly.
destroyed a good exhaust for nothing...

Re: (Mashimaro)
so basically its not really worth it?
reason why i am asking is there is a full 2.5" exhaust with stock muffler for $75 on craigslist but came off a coupe. i have a hatch. so would it be worth buying and modifying it to fit?

in my old hatch i made my pipes from a coupe but it took cutting and welding to make fit good.
it's not ideal of coarse but it cost me 35 bucks for two & and a quarter all the way back. bought from whitey's wrecking in spokane

How is it 2.5" to a stock muffler? They cut the muffler inlet out to 2.5?
